A walk through the city of Florence

After a beautiful trip in Rome, we boarded the train for our next destination in Italy, Florence. The place is really as beautiful as what I had seen in pictures and magazine (also not to forget my Banister Fletcher book from my architectural education of 3rd year). The city was much smaller than Rome, but was much more intense and cohesive looking neighbourhood than what I thought of the city. Yes the place does have the fragrance of Renaissance Art and Architecture. You cannot miss it as the place will remind you every now and then while you walk though its narrow lanes and piazzas. Our place of stay was very close to Piazza Duomo, so after unloading our bare minimum luggage and making good use of the miniature bathroom we took a walk around the city (although it was 29 Degree Celsius). The walk was so wonderful as I first noticed the Russian School of Art (which I had heard off) and just opposite to it was a temporary exhibition of Dali Dante. I was quite sure that this will need a closer visit on the next day of my visit as I don't know enough about Dante, but would like to know and Dali's work is something I really like and it would be a good experience to see how Dali interpreted the Divine Comedy of Dante. Will share my thoughts about Dali Dante later, as of now will continue with my walk in the city of Florence. We made our way through the cathedral to
